Mt. Evans Ascent

Intermountain Repeater Group provides radio communications in support of the Mt. Evans Ascent foot race, happening this year on Sunday, June 25th. A portion of the entry fees for this race is donated to Alpine Rescue.

IRG operates our portable repeater station at the summit, and club members man the aid stations along the race course to relay information about the progress of the runners, and call for assistance when needed. We also have a mobile station driving the course to provide communication from any point in the race.
